I've been a fan of the romance genre since I was first able to choose which books I read. Romance novels have helped me through the toughest times in my life and brought me untold joy and comfort. Now I find equal satisfaction in writing romance.
After all, what's more fascinating than relationships? What's more hopeful than two people falling in love? What's more humbling and confusing, for that matter?
Yes, characters in romance never have it easy ... until the end. I like to give my characters tumultuous journeys so they earn their happy endings. I also like to make sure there are plenty of laughs, adventures and misadventures along the way.
